My Top 5 Favorite YouTubers!!!

YouTube has taught me everything I know about photography, videography, and blogging. It took some time to adapt to learn by watching videos instead of a hands on in person experience. The great thing about this is IT'S FREE!!! I didn't have to go back to school, get another degree, or take out any more student loans to gain this knowledge. You can learn at your own pace and practice shooting when you feel comfortable with what you've learned. I would spend hours a day watching a variety of videos trying to figure which method would work best for me. Here is a list of the YouTubers I gained most of my knowledge from and who I follow on a daily basis for inspiration. 

5. LOST LEBLANC

i QUIT my job to travel the world and it was the best decision of my life. Follow your passion and you will be blown away at what you can accomplish. When I quit, I walked away from a job that I had spent 4 years in a school studying to achieve and I also abandoned a life of financial security.

Lost Leblanc is the first channel I came across that showed me HOW to make money from vlogging and traveling. He provided realistic information for new vloggers as far as which cheap equipment to buy that will still produce high quality, best editing programs, and reviews on different cameras and hotels. He also convinced me that turning my passion into a paycheck IS POSSIBLE!!

Rob Strok dropped out of college to travel the world with friends and make video content of his experiences. We both like the same types of adventures and are always looking for that UNBELIEVABLE shot. His cinematography skills are GREAT!!! He inspired me to not just make YouTube videos, but to showcase a story within them!

Sawyer Hartman's channel consists of daily travel vlogs and his series of "Thru My Eyes" videos. They are montages of countries he has been to from his perspective. His cinematography is also GREAT!!! They showcase him and his friends going the extra mile for great content, interacting with locals to learn about their culture, and tearing through cities on motorcycle.

2. PETER MCKINNON

Today I am starting part 1 of an ongoing series I am going to call 'Step Up Your Filmammaking'. Today's topic is the importance of B-Roll. Shooting B-Roll, and shooting the right B-Roll is an integral part to telling your story. It makes ALL the difference.

Peter McKinnon is probably the most informative for me. He has a personality that shows you he is meant to be in front of a camera. It is easy to say that Peter is genuinely here to help YOU succeed. He has videos on How To Make Your Instagram stories BETTER, how to step your film making, how to shoot in slo motion, etc. Every video this guy makes is GOLD!

Jon Olsson is my favorite to watch. If I wanted my blogs to be like anyones, it would be his!! Jon gives us a dream reality in his vlogs. He films with numerous RED cameras with resolutions ranging from 4K-10K, travels to the most expensive countries,, drives the fastest cars, and hangs with some wealthy people. Also, he has a team who follows him around filming everything he does (How Convenient?!)! The guy who films Jon and his friends, edits the vlogs that night and uploads them the net day! Daily vlogging in 4K must be a headache, but they get it done! The content, quality, and editing is AMAZING!!!
